DemosAU

Our research and polling partner.

DemosAU is an Australian research company specialising in modern demographic analysis and public opinion polling. Since July 2026 it has been Ace Strategies' research partner, and every poll published on this site is fielded by DemosAU.

The partnership

Announced on 3 July 2026, the partnership combines Ace Strategies' work in corporate affairs, strategic advisory and industry engagement with DemosAU's research capability — political and issue polling, message testing, MRP modelling and conversational AI qualitative research.

Australia has historically been under-served in polling and research: organisations wanting to measure community attitudes at state or national level have had few robust options. The partnership exists to close that gap, pairing specialist local knowledge with polling expertise.

Standards

DemosAU is a member of the Australian Polling Council and of the Research Society. Council membership requires a methodology statement to be published alongside voting-intention figures, which is why every wave in our archive carries one, and why this site can describe its sampling, weighting and undecided handling wave by wave rather than in general terms.

In November 2025 DemosAU was assessed among the top tier of Australian pollsters for accuracy. Read the results.

What the partnership produces

  • Federal voting intention — regular waves, several commissioned by Capital Brief.
  • MRP models — seat-by-seat projections across all 150 House of Representatives electorates.
  • South Australian state polling — the wave series through the March 2026 election and beyond. See the South Australian hub.
  • Other state polling — New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania.
  • Issue and message research — message testing, ad creative testing, audience analysis and campaign impact measurement, through our research and polling service.

Where to find the data

Every wave is published in full: topline figures on the page, the complete report as a PDF, and machine-readable Dataset markup describing the fieldwork window, sample, margin of error and weighting.
