DemosAU Federal Polling Results - July 2026
The DemosAU Federal Poll conducted in July 2026 shows support for One Nation has dipped slightly as Pauline Hanson's personal brand takes a hit following her National Press Club address. The poll of 2,694 Australians shows that on a primary vote basis; One Nation leads on 29% (-1% since the June poll). Labor has also dipped -1%, while the Coalition is up 3%, along with the Greens +1%.

Conducted from 02 to 08 July, the poll found Pauline Hanson's personal rating has dropped -6% to a -9% net positive score3 (34% positive and 43% negative).
This is still well ahead of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese who had a -23% net positive score (25% positive and 48% negative).
Albanese still leads Hanson 35%-26% on preferred Prime Minister, which shows no change for Albanese and -2% for Hanson since the June poll.
The poll also asked Australians wide-ranging questions on several key issues including house price falls, multi-culturalism, Donald Trump, childcare staffing, nuclear power and more.
Support for a Prime Minister like Donald Trump in Australia dropped to its lowest ever level with 16% agreeing we need a Prime Minister like Trump and 72% disagreeing.
Head of Research George Hasanakos said the polling showed some conservative voters were moving back to the Coalition.
"We see in this poll after Hanson's National Press Club address, the One Nation vote has slipped backwards a bit and the Coalition has gained three points.
"Labor is not seeing an uptick in support according to our polling as they struggle to win over voters in this era of rising cost of living."
"The polling shows a continuing trend of weaker support for Labor among women."
"The longstanding trend of female voters supporting more left leaning parties and men supporting more right leaning parties has been turned on its head. What we are seeing is that Albanese is more popular with men than he is with women, and by a clear margin."
