DemosAU TAS State Polling Results - February 2026
Support for the Liberal government in Tasmania remains strong according to a poll conducted from 27 January to 12 February 2026. From a survey of 1,071 voters, the Liberals achieved a primary vote of 35%, compared to Labor on 23%, Independents on 17%, Greens on 15%. Shooters, Fishers and Farmers on 4%, and Others on 6%.

The polling results represent a -4.9% swing for the Liberals, and -2.9% swing for Labor, with minor parties benefiting from a modest increase in support. Liberal leader Jeremy Rockliff remains the preferred Premier on 43%, with Labor's Josh Willie trailing on 32%, and 25% of Tasmanians still not sure.
